Who we are
Cash4Kit is a trading name of The Television Set Ltd, 10–11 Percy Street, London, W1T 1DN. The Television Set Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through cash4kit.co.uk, and "we" and "us" on this page mean The Television Set Ltd trading as Cash4Kit.
What we collect
- Enquiries: when you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and whatever you write in the subject and message fields (for example, details of the equipment you want to sell).
- Calls and emails: if you phone or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can deal with your enquiry.
- Advertising measurement: only if you accept cookies, Google records that you arrived from one of our Google adverts and whether you then sent an enquiry or tapped our phone number. See Cookies below.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, value your equipment, and arrange a purchase and collection. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep records of equipment we buy and collect, including those we must keep as a registered waste carrier. The legal basis is our legal obligations.
- To measure which of our adverts work, only with your consent.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Who we share it with
Our website and email host, which stores form submissions and emails on our behalf; Google, for advertising measurement if you have accepted cookies; and our professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a sale are deleted within 24 months. Records of purchases are kept for as long as tax and waste regulations require, typically six years.
Cookies
The site works without any cookies. We ask your permission before setting the following:

If you reject cookies, Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (such as that a page was loaded) under Google's Consent Mode, but nothing is stored on your device and you are not tracked across visits.
We also remember your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to cookies at any time using the buttons above. Contact us at info@cash4kit.co.uk.
